Tax forgiveness for debts of tolls

It is currently in effect a law that provides tax forgiveness to all taxpayers who, voluntarily, pay the debts related to tolls.    These debts include the toll rates, interest on late payments and fines.    Approved by Act No. 51/2015, the exceptional scheme of regularization of debts resulting from non-payment of toll rates covers all debts incurred until April 30 of the current year.   Benefits of this scheme  The payment of the toll tax in debt, made under this Act provides, with regard to the toll rate debt:    a)    the total discharge of interests;    b)    Halving of costs of the fiscal execution process;    And, regarding the fine associated to the debt, provides:  c) reduction of the fine to 90% (that doesn’t result in a value of less than 5 euros, which will be the minimum amount to pay);    d) Dismissal of charges above the misdemeanour process;    e) Dismissal of the executive process charges, if the fine is being collected in this process.   Deadline  In order to take advantage of this exceptional scheme, you should make the payment of the debts of toll rates until September 29, 2015 (inclusive).    We recommend that you take advantage of this tax forgiveness, which could relieve the burden of debt contracted.   For more information, contact us through T. 227 537270.
