Registration of working hours
The registration of working hours is one of the legal obligations of the employer, as provided for in the labour code (art. 202). The registration of working hours is a documentary base which should detail the start and end of working time, as well as the rest interruptions or breaks. This registry should allow determine: • The number of working hours provided per employee, per day and per week; • The hours provided in addition to the normal working period, (as for example the hours provided for replacement of retribution loss due to absences); • The time worked outside the company (which registration must be done as the worker returns to the company, so that it is available until 15 days after having occurred). In the context of this registration, it must be taken into account that the normal period of work may not exceed eight hours per day and forty hours per week. This record must be kept for 5 years.
