New actions to cumulate unemployment benefit and salary

At 11 february of 2015 came into effect the Ministerial Order n.er 26/2015 that establishes the Incentive Measure to the Accetance of Job Offers, extending the rules of the Measure established in the previous Ministerial Order. This measure consists of the atribution of financial support to the unemployed receiving unemployment benefits that accept job offers presented by the IEFP or achieved by their own means, full time, with a gross remuneratin inferior to the unemployment provision value that they are receiving. The Ministerial Order introduces the following alterations: - On the whole, the minimum period of inscription in the IEFP was reduced to 3 months; - To the registered unemployed over 45 years, it is not demandes a registration minmum period. However, it is necessary that the beneficiaries still are entitled to, at least 3 months of unemployment benefits, but even this period is inferior to the previously required; - It is also expected, in wich concerns the labour contracts covered by this measure, the case of renovation or conversion of permanent contracts to fixed-term contracts, in a way to extend the support; - Finally, it becomes possíble to cumulate this measure with others, such as the "Medida Estímulo Emprego" (Employment Stimulous Measure) and with the temporary exemption from the Social Security contributions payment. To be able to benefit from this measure, the emplyee must have at least 3 or more months of unemployment provisions to get. The contract lenght must be, at least, of 3 months, full-time and must assure, at least, the granted monthly minimum compensation and other rights expected in the labour legislationor in apllyable labour colective regulation instrument.  Furthermore, the contract can't be celebrated with employment entity with wich the beneficiary had kept a labour relation, and whose ceasing had given the right to the unemployment provisions. The support may last, at most, until the 12 months, this becouse it can't exceed the assistance that the unemplyoed still is intitled to. In other words, the financial support ends before the 12 meses if meanwhile the unemplyment provision ends too. If the labour contract has a lenght smaller to the 12 months, the employee may benefit from the benefit as long as he continues to be entitled to unemployment provisions, even though for a period smaller than 3 months in the cases of:  - news labour contract;  - renovation or concersion in permanent contract; - fixed-term contract. The beneficiary receives a monthly support equivalent to 50% of the unemployment benefit in the first 6 months of contract(until the maximumm of 500€) and to 25% at the six following years (until the maximum of 250€). In the labour contracts inferior to 12 months, the support periods are proportionally reduced. This measure embraces contracts celebrated from the 1st january and must be required by the beneficiary within 30 calendar days of the date of the labour contract beginning or of the date of entry into force od the Ministerial Order (february 11).
