National Production Support Program

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE?

Development of a public policy instrument of direct support for productive business investment, with a focus on the industrial sector and the tourism sector, among other relevant sectors to stimulate national production and reduce dependence on foreign markets.

WHAT IS THE BUDGET FOR THE PROGRAM?

Around 100 million euros are foreseen, divided between regions and competitions, from European funds from the Regional Operational Programs.

WHO IS IT AIMED AT?

Micro and Small Companies active in Industry and Tourism.

WHAT ARE THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA?

    Guarantee the project's financing sources, with a minimum of 10% of Equity;
    Present the necessary licenses for the development of the activity;
    Obtain or update the Electronic Certification of the PME status;
    Have an organized or simplified accounting system;
    Present positive results, before taxes, in the last fiscal year
    Not have salaries in arrears;
    Present at least one job in their charge in the pre-project year and keep them until 6 months after the closing of the project.


WHAT IS THE INVESTMENT?

The program aims to support small investments between 20 thousand and 235 thousand euros, whose investment period may have a maximum duration of 12 months counted from the date of the first expenditure, and may be extended for an additional period of 6 months in duly justified cases.

WHAT IS THE INCENTIVE?

The incentives to be granted have the nature of non-refundable subsidies, i.e. non-refundable. The base rate is 40% for investments located in inland areas or 30% for investments located in the remaining areas, with top-ups up to a maximum of 20 percentage points.

WHAT ARE THE ELIGIBLE EXPENSES?
  •     Acquisition costs of machinery, equipment, respective installation and transport;
  •     Acquisition costs of computer equipment, including the software necessary for its operation;
  •     Standard software or software specifically developed for the company's activity;
  •     Design and registration costs associated with the creation of new brands or collections;
  •     Initial costs associated with the domiciliation of applications;
  •     Rolling stock directly related to the exercise of the activity, up to a maximum eligible limit of 40 thousand euros;
  •     Studies, diagnostics, audits, marketing plans, up to a maximum eligible amount of 5 thousand euros;
  •     Technological/digital services, quality and certification systems, up to a maximum eligible amount of 50 thousand euros;
  •     Remodeling or adaptation works, for the installation of production equipment financed under this project, up to the limit of 60% of the total eligible investment.
WHAT IS THE OBLIGATION?

Job maintenance (no obligation to hire new workers).

WHAT IS THE CANDIDACY DEADLINE?

Until February 26th 2021 for the calls that are already open.
