Business wellness

What is business wellness? Wellness is a program or proposals carried out by companies to improve the well-being into the company, with the objective of achieving the workers and increasing their health at all levels (Physic, mental and emotional). The health is link to the well-being of employees, in fact of, it is a living organism constituted by people. Increasingly, the enterprises care about the wellness, in order to improve the workplace, leading to an increasing of productivity, posteriorly, it can become a positive aspect recognised by society, partners, investors and potentials candidates. How to implement measures? The companies create welfare programs, initially making a diagnosis through an internal analysis of the company environment that indicates the needs. Based on the obtained results, the action plan can be carry out, which can include: Breaks during the work time and creating a social space; Monthly birthday celebration; Keep clean the canteen and workplaces; Programming activities and events in order to participate as many people as possible; Improvements in the menus made available to employees (in case of catering);   Once the strategies to be apply are chose it´s necessary to monitor their effectiveness to verify whether they meet the objectives. As well as to analyse whether it had an impact on the company´s internal environment. Improvements associated with the Wellness Program: Increased productivity; Motivation by workers; Improvement of the company’s image; Improvement of the commitment and devotion of employees;   The conjugation of the associated improvements and strategies not only leads us to a better environment, propitious to accomplish the fixed objectives, but also help the company´s image, because motivated employees are more committed!
