Tools available to help companies

In times of crisis, where all the standards we are used to are changed, it is essential to gather the leaders of the various departments of our company, requesting all available data in order to find viable solutions or alternatives. By relating them it may also be possible to develop new business opportunities, appropriate to these periods, allowing the organization to overcome these moments with the least number of changes to our usual operation.

When no alternatives can be found or it is not possible to develop new opportunities and the organization does not have the financial capacity to comply with all legal and contractual rules with stakeholders, it is essential to resort to options in order to keep the entire business ecosystem alive and prepared for the post crisis.

These are the options you can use:
  • Credit moratoria, in order to suspend contracted credit until 30 September 20204
  • Lay Off measures allowing support in the payment of wages, during periods of temporary reduction of working hours or the suspension of employment contracts.
  • Allowance for the payment of rents
  • Tax and Contribution Deferral, with the respective payment in the second half of the current year
  • Systems of incentives for companies, such as changes to the general rules for implementing the European Structural Funds and investment funds, so as to enable payment requests to be anticipated
  • Deferment/suspension of judicial and administrative time limits, which allows the reduction of judicial costs during this period.
  • Lines of aid for the operation of companies
