Incentive to self-employment creation
The ministerial order No. 151/2014, of 30 July, creates the program Invests Young. This incentive aims to promote the creation of enterprises by unemployed young people enrolled in the IEFP. Are eligible young people aged 18 and 30 years and who have a business feasible idea and appropriate training for business development. The modalities of support: • financial support to investment • financial support for the creation of own job promoters • technical support in the area of entrepreneurship for reinforcement of competences and for the structuring and consolidation of the project. Financial support covers up to 75% of the total eligible investment. This support can only finance Revolving Fund indexed to the project until 50% of the eligible investment, within the limit of 5 x IAS. Promoters shall also ensure, at least, 10% of the total eligible investment with equity. Financial support is awarded in the form of interest-free loans, repayable within 54 months. Source: IEFP
